Land Rover was a brand name of a British company called Jaguar Land Rover which was originally used by the Rover Company. This company was recently acquired by Tata Motors, an Indian motor vehicle company. The brand originates from the original Land Rover car.
The company was actually set up years after production of the first Land Rover car. Initially it was a product of the Rover Company which at some point was bought in by another company called Leyland Motor Corporation. The original design for the Land Rover was started by an engineer called Maurice who made the first concept car using various parts of a Jeep. In many countries the Land Rover brand and Jaguar brand share the same marketing outlets and channels.
It is important to note that some brands of Land Rover are manufactured in different locations worldwide. This brand of the vehicle has been protected over the years to guard its quality and effectiveness and to ensure its market dominance.

Some of Land Rover engines are produced under support of various governments. The government support in research mostly under the low carbon emission programs and projects.
Land Rover was built in to not only provide transport but also to run several farm appliances while stationery. This ability made this car popular among many people across the world.
Previously this website was owned by Land Rover Salvage, a company based in Canada. It’s a shame that this company is no longer in business. The Morgan is also a car with a Rover engine. Having a place for old Rover parts and expertise, was very handy.

Today I need to share something with you all. Well, it’s more like letting go of something that I’ve been having on my conscience for a while. By writing about it, perhaps I will be able to understand it more myself.
You see, I am an avid land rover collector. But I fear I may be much more than that, quite frankly. I can’t hold back the urge to buy more of those damn buggers every time I see one! Where do I get the money for them, may you ask? Well, here’s the thing.
My wife and I own a beautiful house in an awesome location. The sun is always there and the view is great. It’s a huge house that we’ve purchased with the savings that have grown throughout the 30-or-so years we’ve been married. We are both pretty much career-driven people, so if you combine two persons like that, the money will just keep on piling up one way or another.
How should I say this?
Our home, our beautiful home… I mortgaged it without telling my wife. That’s how I got the money to fund my obsession. All they wanted to see was her signature next to mine, and I tricked her to sign a blank piece of paper, then printed the agreement over it, so the signature was perfectly aligned.
No-one suspected a thing. Even now, she probably has no idea about what I’ve done. Yes, I’m hiding all the land rovers from her. I use my friend’s garage to hide them all. That place is huge! He built it just in case, but as of right now, he doesn’t really have the need for all this space. One car is enough for his needs.
Not mine, though. I’m always browsing the internet, constantly trying to find great deals on the models I still don’t have. The problem is, they keep coming out with new ones almost every year, which is sort of frustrating. It’s like running a marathon, and every time you find yourself crossing the finish line, a new one appears a few miles away. I can’t take it any more! Personally, I think sticking to this whole nutritional weight-reduction concept is a lot better and easier.
My initial dream of having every model in all available colors was way too ambitious. There’s no way I’ll ever have the funds to afford all of the possible combinations. But every single model in existence… that sounds achievable, somehow. It’s going to be a long shot, but it’s doable, even if I have to sell my inner organs!
I don’t know when this started, but as of right now, I’m the proud owner of around 50 land rovers. And to think that all those guitar collectors complain about how much money they’ve spent on their passion. Laughable, to say the least! A guitar is typically way cheaper than any car.
I’m way too deep into this to stop now. As each single day passes, I’m getting closer and closer to my ultimate goal. I don’t care if it sounds childish to anyone. The feeling when I grow my collection piece by piece is unlike anything I’ve experienced thus far.
Does this have to end?
Probably. I don’t know what will happen if my wife finds out, and I’m running out of money every single day. I’m living on the edge, so to say. My bank account is dryer than the Sahara desert. Right now, I’m able to make ends meet somehow. But I’m deeper and deeper every day.
I’m already in debt with some very suspicious individuals. That’s what really got me thinking, as they are not exactly the kindest and most understanding sort, especially when you have to pay them back. And I fear for my life. I feel like I have all the control over the cars I own, but not so much over my own life.
I don’t want to end up buried somewhere, killed and stripped of all my belongings and dumped into a forest at night! I owe it to my dear wife to stop this nonsense. Yes, that’s what I’ll do. I’ll sell the ones I don’t like to pay back some of the debt. After all, my life is way more precious than my collection, as much as it hurts to state it out loud.
As long as she doesn’t find out what I’ve done, I’m good. I wouldn’t want to lose her. After all, I love my wife way more than I love my massive collection of land rovers.
